Patna, Feb 25: Main opposition RJD on Wednesday created an uproar in Bihar assembly on Wednesday charging the government with violating protocal by allegedly not giving proper space to the leader of opposition in the house in an official advertisement for the launch of a scheme under the urban development ministry recently.

''Being the leader of opposition in the house Rabri Devi should have been given an important position in the advertisement. By not doing so, the state government has shown great disrespect to the former chief minister,'' RJD chief whip Shyam Rajak charged.

He was pressing for acceptance of the privilege notice issued by him to the assembly secretariat on the subject.

RJD members later stood in their seats and demanded that the privilege notice be accepted and debate be taken up on the issue.

As unruly scenes prevailed, Speaker Uday Narain Choudhary asked them to calm down and said he would come out with a ruling on the privilege notice in the current session of the house.
