Now, shoe hurled at Cong MP Navin Jindal Zeenews Bureau

Kurukshetra, April 10: In another shoe-throwing incident, Congress MP Navin Jindal has been made the target by a former teacher in his own constituency.

Ram Kumar, a retired school principal, however, missed his target as Jindal was addressing Congress workers between 10.30 and 11.30am. While throwing the shoe at Jindal, the retired teacher said he is doing so in protest of the policies of the Congress.

The man was overpowered by the security officials and taken to the local police station.

The accused is being questioned and the intention behind the sudden outburst is not known yet. He might be protesting the increasing lack of opportunities for budding teachers and educationists.

Jindal, however, refused to press charges against Kumar. "He is an old [erson. I have nothing against him, I forgive him. Law will take its own course," he said, adding that if the media continued to give prominence to such incidents, it would become a trend.

He may have been drunk at the time of the incident, Jindal suggested.

Journalist Jarnail Singh had hurled a shoe at Home Minister P Chidambaram on Monday that led to a major uproar over the clean chit given to Jagdish Tytler. The Congress on Thursday withdrew Tytler and anothet accused in the 1984 riots case, Sajjan Kumar from Lok Sabha polls candidature.

Throwing shoes at politicians seems to have become a trend of sorts with a boot being hurled at former US President George Bush by an Iraqi journalist.

Keep the politicians on the run. Keep remind them that come to power by begging votes from the common people. There is nothing wrong at throwing shoes to them as they rightly deserve. How much money Jindal made in the last 5 years?

Protest is our right, but the way the protesters are doing protest is not good in democracy. The way should be to protest in peaceful manner and not in this manner that it can hurt to anyone. I condemn his way .

First of all Mr Vishal from Sydney ,will you please let the whole country know what the right way to protest against corrupt politicians?
We are living in such a Country where innocent Hindu`s soul is harvested by Christian Missionaries and killed by religious fenatics.Hindus are striving for their own rights in their own country because of this Vote Bank Politics.

Thousands of sikhs were killed and the culprits were given a clean chit by our country`s highest investigative agency.
So the whole development is not uncalled for.One day or the other it will shape up a revolution. If that revolution becomes freedom movement then we are saved otherwise the country will collapse.

My request to all educated people is to have some patience and let the common man do whatever they like to against corrupt politicians. When you people feel that it`s no more a freedom movement rather it is just heading for an unrest ,come to the foreground and lead the misguided people towards a fruitful result.

Can anyone tell those people that this is not the right way to protest. Some case they might have frustration, but respect is also an impact which we have to pay.No matter few paolitician are not up to the mark but have we all asked ourselves who is responsible, for me it`s us the ctitzen of India, we created this system, we praised those leaders wiht communial thoughts and above all we have lost moral, so we should not bloame anybody and hurled shoes, I think the person is educationalist he may have been through unjustise but ask him is he have that moral to cmoe and tell that he is clean, do he ora nbody has that courage to tell ot listem the truth, think we indians have taken ashort way to get in limelight. This is worst we have lost the touch and moral, all of us.
