A Chinese printing company has just published the 100 millionth copy of the Bible, becoming the largest publisher of the holy book in the world.
Five thousand Bibles that were defaced by authorities will now be preserved.
A Christian group in Malaysia Wednesday criticised the government`s confiscation of some 15,000 Malay-language Bibles which contain the word "Allah," or God in Arabic.
Malaysian authorities have confiscated more than 15,000 Bibles in recent months because they referred to "God" as "Allah," a translation that has been banned in this Muslim-majority country, Christian church officials said.
