A fourth giant panda has died from a life threatening virus in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, becoming the latest casualty in the past two months at a same rescue centre.
Concerned over the spread of a deadly virus common among dogs, the Centre today asked all tiger range states to take precautionary measures to protect the big cats.
The National Tiger Conservation Authority`s (NTCA) move comes after recent media reports about spread of Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) in tigers in countries like Indonesia and Russia.
