A real life MMS scandal changing the life course of a girl now surfaces on celluloid in a mainstream Bengali genre film.
A total of 14 films have been selected for the prestigious competition section of the 18th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) to be held here from December 6 to 13.
A new film titled ‘Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan’, will capture the life and time of India`s second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.
‘Celluloid’, a film by Kamal which bagged seven Kerala state film awards including for best film, is a belated tribute by a film-maker to J C Daniel.
`Celluloid,` a feature film directed by Kamal based on the life of J C Daniel, the pioneer of Malayalam cinema has won the Kerala state award for best film for the year 2012.
