Stepping into controversy over Ramesh Chennithala`s entry into Oommen Chandy-led UDF Government, senior Congress leader PJ Kurien on Saturday said the KPCC Chief should have been made Deputy Chief Minister.
Congress-led United Democratic Front in Kerala today failed to reach a consensus on the induction of KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala into the Oommen Chandy ministry in the rank of Deputy Chief Minister.
Chances of KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala joining UDF Ministry headed by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy appeared to have brightened with the two leaders meeting here Tuesday to break the deadlock over the issue.
