Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will campaign for the party candidates in Bihar during the third phase of general elections, a party leader said on Friday.
Cong downplayed as "personal opinion" SM Krishna`s remarks attacking candidate-selection process in his party for the Karnataka Assembly elections.
Congress, which is fighting polls by aligning with NCP
will be fighting on 33 seats.
The reports said Congress was facing the ire of the insurgents as they felt that the party was against their "revolutionary movement".
Suspected militants continued their
attacks on Congress workers and candidates for the January-28
poll in Manipur on Tuesday, but none was injured.
Congress on Friday announced
candidates for two more seats in West Bengal which were
earlier allotted to SUCI by Trinamool Congress.
Congress has announced its
candidates for four out of the seven Assembly seats in Gujarat
where the by-polls are scheduled to be held on September 10.
