A 74-year-old resident of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), who had come to this side of Kashmir to meet his brother, died due to illness at a hospital here on Saturday.
The signs of business along the Line of Control (LoC) between the two sides of Jammu and Kashmir have started re-appearing, and the cross-border trade and travel would likely be resumed Monday, said an official source Sunday.
Cross-LoC trade and the weekly bus service between Srinagar
and Muzaffarabad is suspeded as heavy snowfall blocked the road.
Traders from Pakistan occupied Kashmir and Jammu and Kashmir will converge on Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district Wednesday to discuss the LoC trade.
