Vigilance officials raided
premises of three personal security officers to former Tamil Nadu CM M Karunanidhi in connection with a
disproportionate assets case.
DVAC officials raided 73 premises of
candidates as its probe into alleged irregularities in
appointments made by TNPSC as its Chairman have resigned.
Continuing its action against
alleged irregularities in appointments by TN Public
Service Commission, vigilance sleuths swooped down on
suspected middlemen at 42 places across the state, including
DVAC on Tuesday carried out searches at the residences
of former DMK minister MRK Pannerselvam and educational
institutions run by him.

The Madras High Court on Monday stayed a
single bench order holding that the Directorate of Vigilance
and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) was not excluded from the purview
