With the Arvind Kejriwal government adamant on tabling the Jan Lokpal bill in Delhi Assembly, a senior Congress MP on Saturday said in case of a conflict between a central law and a state law, the legislation enacted by the Centre will prevail.
Delhi cabinet Monday cleared the draft of the anti-graft Delhi Lokpal Bill, 2014 according to which an independent probe can be initiated against government employees, ranging from chief minister to a peon.
