The Japanese government`s push to return to nuclear power won a boost Wednesday after a court rejected a bid to block the restart of two reactors deemed safe by regulators.
A Japanese court ruled against allowing the restart of a nuclear power plant west of Tokyo on Wednesday, its operator said, a rare case in which anti-nuclear plaintiffs have successfully won a ruling to shut down reactors.
The Nuclear Regulation Authority of Japan said a thorough review of its mistake-plagued projections for the spread of radiation turned up errors in the data.
