The Indian Army on Friday foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Gurez sector of J&K, killing a militant in the operation.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) on Monday airlifted more than 100 stranded passengers in three sorties between Srinagar and Kargil, an official spokesman said.
Nearly a dozen infiltration attempts by militants were
detected and foiled in the first two weeks of this month.
Three heavily-armed militants were shot dead as the Army foiled an infiltration bid from across the border in Gurez Sector of Bandipora district on Saturday.
