Against the backdrop of CBSE issuing a showcause notice to Scindia School in Gwalior over the ragging of a student, the school on Friday said it has already expelled three students and was further strengthening its mechanism to avoid repetition of such incidents.
The student of a Gwalior school who allegedly attempted suicide was ragged, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has established and will issue a showcause notice to the institute. A fact-finding committee of the CBSE regional directorate which visited the school on August 24 has concluded that "the student was ragged", officials in the HRD Ministry said.
