An eminent nuclear power scientist today said there is still hope for setting up a nuclear power plant at Haripur despite West Bengal government opposing the project.
CPI(ML-Liberation) on Saturday said it will strengthen the ongoing anti-nuclear plant movements in various parts of the country.

plant from Haripur in West Bengal to neighbouring Orissa.

the-art nuclear fuel fabrication plant to cater to all its
power plants and is expected to come up at Kudankulam in Tamil
Nadu or Haripur in West Bengal.
As Trinamool Congress opposed the
setting up of a nuclear reactor in Haripur in West Bengal, the
CPI(M) on Thursday said the state government has nothing to do as it
was the Centre which took decisions on such matters.
