In the wake of the recent Uttarakhand disaster, the Indian National Trust For Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has set up a heritage relief and restoration fund.
A nearly 400-year-old temple near Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, which was standing tilted for more than 100 years, was rebuilt by the INTACH.
The Indian National Trust for
Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) will assist the
Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) in preservation and
maintenance of monuments as per a new law, a top official of
the NGO said today.
