BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Saturday said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa should apologise to the Kanchi Mutt seers after a Puducherry court acquitted them of murder charges.
A Puducherry court will tomorrow deliver its verdict in the high profile 2004 Sankararaman murder case, in which two Kanchi Mutt seers Jayendra Saraswathi and Vijayendra are the prime accused.
A local court on Friday adjourned to July 26 hearing in the Sankararaman murder case in which the Kanchi Mutt seer Jayendra Saraswathi and his junior Vijayendra Saraswathi are the prime accused.
Kanchi Mutt head Jeyendra Saraswati on Thursday said the Mutt is fully prepared to take on the restoration of the Shiva temple of Kedarnath, ravaged by floods.
A court adjourned to January 04 the hearing in the Sankararaman murder case in which Kanchi Mutt Seer Jayendra Saraswathi and his junior Vijayendra are the prime accused.
The High Court had launched a "discrete" inquiry into the video tapes, and the court was told on October 13 that it had been completed.
