At least eight people have died in fighting between rival Somali warlords battling for control of the southern port city of Kismayo, witnesses said Saturday.
In a significant development, African Union (AU) forces on Friday took control of parts of Kismayo, the last major Islamist militant bastion in southern Somalia.
