Almost two months since Pakistani prisoner Sanaullah Ranjay died after being attacked in a prison, police have filed a chargesheet.
The tension, which gripped high security Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu after Pakistani prisoners went on a fast to protest the death of Sanaullah Ranjay, ended on Friday after they had their afternoon meals.
Prisoners from India and Pakistan were segregated at the high security Kot Balwal central jail here by authorities on Saturday in a bid to prevent recurrence of the attack on a Pakistani inmate.
52-year-old Sanaullah Ranjay, the Pakistani prisoner, was attacked and seriously injured yesterday, allegedly by Kumar after an altercation.
