Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said on Monday that the government would approach the Supreme Court against the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order of banning vehicles older than 15 years from running in New Delhi.
In order to effectively implement the NGT order banning more than 10 years old diesel-run vehicles, Delhi government on Monday said it would approach the Centre to seek an amendment in the Motor Vehicle Act for having "legal rights" to impound such vehicles.
