Hailing court verdict which discharged him in case of disrespect to national anthem, Union minister Shashi Tharoor said he was relieved as "justice has been done" after four-and-a-half year.
Kerala High Court deferred to Thursday a plea seeking to intervene in the criminal complaint filed against Union Minister of state for HRD, Shashi Tharoor for allegedly showing disrespect to the National Anthem in 2008.
A local court on Wednesday declined to permit withdrawal of the complaint in the national anthem case filed against Union Minister Shashi Tharoor for the time being.
Kerala HC reserved its order on the petition by Shashi Tharoor seeking a stay on further proceedings pending against him in a lower court.
