President Pranab Mukherjee Thursday met the 24 children who would be conferred this year`s National Bravery Award, Rashtrapati Bhavan said.
Prez Pranab Mukherjee met children who won the National Bravery Awards-2012, at Rashtrapati Bhavan here on Tuesday.
A 15-year-old tribal girl had showed exemplary courage while saving her elder sister from the clutches of a panther in Sahapur taluka.
The 15-year-old Ramdinthara from Mizoram is the only child to get the National Bravery Award posthumously this year.
Arunachalee girl Ipi Basar has
been selected as one of the awardees at the National Bravery
Award which will be presented by the Prime Minister in New
Delhi during January next year.
Ipi Basar has been selected for the National Bravery Award.
