Supreme Court agreed to have relook at its judgement scrapping single common entrance test for admissions to MBBS, BDS and post-graduate courses in all medical colleges which delivered 3 months back.
Petition was filed in Supreme Court seeking a review of its judgement scrapping the single common entrance test (NEET) for admissions to MBBS, BDS and post-graduate courses in all medical colleges.
Chief Justice of India P Sathasivam has said the alleged leak of the NEET verdict on common entrance test for medical colleges before its pronouncment on July 18 will have to be inquired into.
According to the state data, about 65,000 students appear for the medical seats of the Eamcet exam (held at the state
level) every year.
