A Russia court upheld Tuesday a suspended three-and-a-half year prison sentence against top Kremlin critic Alexi Navalny on charges he embezzled money from French cosmetics company Yves Rocher.
A Moscow courthouse on Friday upheld the results of mayoral elections in which the Kremlin-backed incumbent narrowly avoided a run-off with opposition leader Alexei Navalny, Russian news outlets reported.
The trial has resumed in the case against a Russian opposition leader who led protests against President Vladimir Putin and exposed alleged corruption in his government.
