Kasab had concocted a story to tell the court that he
had come to Mumbai via Samjhauta Express to watch Hindi movies
and that he was arrested by police as he was holding a
Pakistani passport, Nikam submitted.
The move of Pak-American David Headley, charged with conspiracy in the Mumbai terror

lighter sentence, will not effect the 26/11 trial here,
Ujjwal Nikam has said.
Maharashtra govt has
appointed prominent criminal lawyer Ujjwal Nikam as Special
Public Prosecutor in the trial of bodyguards of Dera Sacha
Sauda chief Baba Ram Rahim Singh charged with killing a member
of the Sikh Community.
Lone surviving Pakistani gunman Ajmal Kasab on Tuesday said he was not a "jihadi" and had not undergone any training at the Lashkar-e-Toiba camp in Pakistan. Kasab further said he was a cook with a catering company in "Saarayee-Alamghir" near Jhelum in Pakistan.
A Pak court declaring Ajmal Kasab an absconder & issuing a non-bailable warrant against him have proved beyond doubt that the gunman is Pakistani & had taken part in 26/11 attacks, Ujjwal Nikam said today.
