The LJP today accused the Nitish
Kumar government of "conspiring" to deprive poor and Dalits of their voting rights and urged the Election Commission to take necessary steps to ensure their participation in the polls.
Sticking to its demand for sacking of
the Nitish Kumar government in the light of the CAG report on
alleged withdrawal of money from the state treasuries, RJD said it was a systematic and merciless plunder of the state exchequer.
The Patna HC today stayed its
previous order on whether or not the allegations levelled in a
PIL in connection with the CAG report were a fit case to be
referred to the CBI, in a major reprieve for the Nitish government.
