Indian authorities have rejected a plan by the adult entertainment company, Playboy, to open its first club in Goa.
Manohar Parrikar said Monday his government will not permit Playboy club to open in Goa as a beach shack.
Goa Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar told state assembly that government is considering Playboy`s proposal to set up club at Candolim beach, responding to question by BJP legislator Michael Lobo.
Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said he will inquire into the entry of Playboy Club, Indian franchisee of the US-based group, in the state.
The authorities in Goa on Friday claimed that they would shut down the Playboy Club scheduled to be opened in the state next month.
Nudity clause, which was once uncommon on TV, is now becoming an everyday part of contract negotiations.
