State-run aluminium major National Aluminiun Company Ltd (NALCO) on Wednesday posted a decline of 29.29 per cent in its net profit at Rs 155.18 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009, over the same period a year ago.
Backed by a healthy growth in core fee-income, Bank of Baroda overcame challenging market conditions to post a 17.5 percent jump in net profit in the third quarter, overshadowing the muted earnings posted by many of its peers.

segments, FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Ltd on Tuesday posted
a 5.4 percent jump in net profit for the third quarter ended December 31 at Rs 649 crore from Rs 615 crore in the year-ago period.
