Friday prayers passed off peacefully in curfew-bound Moradabad town, where communal tension had flared up following arson by devotees of Lord Shiva, with the district administration giving three to seven hours relaxation.
To attract more youths from Jammu
and Kashmir, Government has decided to extend the relaxation
in physical eligibility conditions for recruitment in central
police forces like CRPF and BSF to the Jammu region.
Curfew was relaxed for a few
hours for the third consecutive day on Thursday in most parts of the
Valley which remained largely peaceful during the period
barring incidents of stone pelting in Pulwama town.
