A spotted deer was killed with sharp-edged weapons by unidentified poachers in Panahpur village, police said today.
A tribal was arrested on Monday for allegedly electrocuting two spotted deer at Nandikheda village near here, a forest official said.
The annual wildlife census commenced in Sathyamangalam and Erode forest divisions Tuesday.
