Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel agreed on Thursday on the need for the UN Security Council to study a report by UN experts on the alleged chemical attack outside Damascus, the Kremlin said.
Police searched two properties as part of the investigation into the activities of a two people arrested on suspicion of supporting terrorism in Syria.
The resolution was passed by the 47-member state council with 41 votes in favour, two abstentions and three -- Russia, China and Cuba -- against.
