Congress leader and former Kerala minister VM Sudheeran on Saturday extended support to the demand for a CBI probe in the T P Chandrasekharan murder case.
With close to 70 people accused in the murder of TP Chandrasekharan, Kerala Police will start work on the chargesheet expected to be filed in by Aug.
A CPI(M) party district-level functionary was arrested in connection with the recent murder of Marxist rebel and RMP leader TP Chandrasekharan.
Chandrasekharan, 50, a former CPI(M) leader in the party stronghold Onjiyam in Kozhikode district, was murdered at Vallikkad near Vatakara on May 4.
CPI-M General Secretary Prakash Karat on Saturday said the party would not hesitate to act against any CPI(M) member found involved in the murder of TP Chandrasekharan.
