The smartphone virus 'AndroidSmssend' threatens users with its ability to steal personal information and sending unwanted SMSes to people on the user's contact list.
Cyber security sleuths have warned Indian Internet users against a potent Trojan virus in the social media and email circuit which stealthily encrypts important documents of the user and then asks for a `ransom` to unlock proprietary messages.
A trojan virus called `Bamital` has been detected in the country`s internet network, Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) said in its advisory to internet users.
