Vayalar Ravi said India`s supported the UNHRC resolution against Sri Lanka keeping in mind Tamil sentiments.
In an apparent reference to India,
Sri Lanka said "certain domestic compulsions" had forced friends to vote for the UNHRC resolution.
The UNHRC adopted the resolution which noted with concern that an internal
inquiry report in Sri Lanka does not adequately address "serious allegations" of violations of international law.
