On the ninth anniversary of the UPA government Wednesday, its two key figures - Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi - praised each other.
The BJP termed the UPA`s report card as a "non-report card" that hid all the scams and revealed only what was convenient to the ruling dispensation.
"Sitaron se aage jahaan aur bhi hain," Prime Minister Manmohan Singh poignantly remarked on Wednesday night.
UPA report card on Wednesday said 17 coal blocks were put on offer for government companies through competitive bidding route.
United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday rallied behind Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, launching a scathing attack on the main opposition party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Listing out the achievements of nine years of UPA government, PM said that next year they will report to people directly seeking a renewed mandate.
On completion of 8 years by UPA, Sarkar said the govt had "plunged into brazen corruption" due to which people were facing "limitless sufferings".
