The special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court Thursday rejected an application of an approver, arrested in the 2006 Aurangabad Arms Haul case, to withdraw his confession.
CBI sent to MoH the judicial requests to US and Switzerland seeking records related to transactions of alleged front company of Abhishek Verma.
While the Directorate team is set to travel to the US, the CBI is considering a similar move to prepare a watertight case against the arms dealer, official sources said.
It has now emerged that Samad Bhatkal was never a `wanted` in the illegal arms seizure case.
