UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has welcomed the imminent entry into force of the landmark Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), which seeks to regulate the global trade in conventional arms.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki- moon Wednesday called for more countries to join the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) to facilitate its entry into force.
Signatures are the first step to ratification, and the treaty will only take effect after 50 countries ratify it.
