A US-based organisation of Indian Muslims has condemned the recent violence in Assam in which at least 32 people were killed and demanded that additional paramilitary forces be deployed in the strife-torn area.
BJP on Sunday hit back at Congress for blaming Narendra Modi for the violence in Assam, saying it was an outcome of "politics of divisiveness and blood" on which Congress had harvested "too many votes for too long".
