A court in Bangladesh Sunday denied bail to the owner of a garment factory and his wife after they surrendered over a fire accident that killed 112 people in November 2012.
Bangladesh on Wednesday launched a probe into a huge fire at a two-storey garment factory near here that claimed at least nine lives, in the latest industrial disaster to hit the world`s second-largest garment exporter.
Bangladesh police arrested two factory employees, including a woman, for allegedly setting on fire a readymade garments unit, a day after another inferno killed 112 workers of a nearby textile unit.
