With the final deadline to completely phase out Bluelines expiring on Monday, the `killer` fleet, which had gained notoriety for involvement in frequent
mishaps, will be off the roads from February one.
Blueline buses will be back on
the roads from tomorrow after being temporarily sidelined for
the Commonwealth Games, even as the DTC will start inducting
vehicles used to ferry athletes into its fleet.
In a temporary respite to South
Delhi private bus operators, the Delhi High Court on Monday
directed the STA not to take any
coercive measure against blueline buses before replacing
them with new low-floor DTC buses.
