Noisy scenes were witnessed for the second consecutive day during the ongoing monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Assembly after the treasury bench demanded an apology from state Congress chief Bhupesh Baghel for his remarks about Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal.
Chhattisgarh Assembly`s monsoon session began on a stormy note here on Monday, after Opposition Congress members were suspended for trooping into the well of the House and demanding resignation of Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal in connection with an alleged land encroachment issue.

As many as 35 Congress legislators were suspended from the Chhattisgarh Assembly on Thursday for shouting slogans near the Speaker`s chair and disrupting the proceedings of the house. The suspension was revoked after 10 minutes.
