Activities of the Naxals in Kerala have increased manifold and situation in the state has the potential of becoming more serious if immediate preventive measures are not taken, according to a note prepared by the Home Ministry.
Maoists destroyed a private guest house belonging to a granite company at Pedapadu in Pottangi block in the district in protest against the proposed establishment of a BSF camp in the area, the police said on Friday.
