The rupee on Thursday depreciated by 10
paise to 46.63 a dollar in opening trade on fears that capital
inflows would be impacted adversely after the Reserve Bank
tightened the guidelines for external commercial borrowings.
Continuing with its gaining streak for the 3rd day, the rupee today appreciated by 17 paise to touch one-week high at 46.14 against the US currency
in opening trade on hopes of continued capital inflows into equity market.
The Indian rupee strengthened by 16 paise to 46.45 against the US currency extending Friday`s gains in early trade today on hopes of increased capital inflows into equity and dollar selling by exporters.
