The US has termed as "incorrect" a news report that it is linking efforts of the Indian Government to seek more compensation from the Union Carbide in the Bhopal gas tragedy with the investment ties between the two countries.
A top Indian official said there was no change in the government`s stand to follow the due legal process on the Bhopal Gas disaster, including fixing of criminal liabilities, despite possible US move to thwart the process.
