Indian authorities have approached
Peru for handing over Israeli drug baron Yaniv Benaim alias Atala, wanted by the Goa police in connection with the policemen-drug peddler nexus case in the coastal state.
The Goa Bench of Bombay High Court on Tuesday rejected bail petition filed by Israeli drug dealer David
Driham alias Dudu, who had sought bail citing various
anomalies adopted in the procedure of his arrest.
After being caught on record making frequent calls to a drug peddler, the lawyers defending the suspended police constables for their alleged links to drug dealers, have now claimed it was a `strategy to plan for the future raid.`
