Amid fears of spike in onion prices during the upcoming festive season, Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh on Friday said the government will take all measures to ensure prices of onion do not touch the Rs 80-100 per kg level again.
In view of the festive season, Delhi Government today ordered a mega drive to curb food adulteration under which samples of sweets and other items
would be lifted from all market places across the city.
Despite announcing that water-cuts
would continue till September end, BMC on Friday rolled back its
decision and said supply of the precious commodity would not
be stopped for a month due to the ongoing festival season.
