FII investments via P-Notes surges to $43 billion in Oct

Investments into domestic shares through participatory notes (P-Notes) surged to the highest level in more than six-and-half years at Rs 2.65 lakh crore (about USD 43 billion) in October.

FIIs invest Rs 8,800 cr in Indian stock market

In 2012, FIIs had made net investment of Rs 1.28 lakh crore (USD 24.4 billion) in Indian equities, making it the second best year for the market after record inflow of Rs 1.33 lakh crore (USD 29 billion) in 2010.

P-Note investments reach 8-month high of $32 billion

The quantum of FII investments through these P-Notes also rose to 14.4 percent, up from 12 percent in the previous month, the highest since 15 percent in March this year.
