A special CBI court here Friday granted anticipatory bail to former Rajasthan Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria and three others who were charge sheeted in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter killing case.
Gulabchand Kataria was unanimously elected as the Leader of Opposition by the BJP legislative party in Rajasthan.
Gearing up for assembly elections in Rajasthan slated for later this year, BJP brought back former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to head the party in the state.
Vasundhara Raje on Friday reached the capital and held meetings with central party and RSS functionaries.
The feud in Rajasthan BJP intensified with 56 MLAs loyal to Vasundhara Raje offering to resign but the party played down the crisis.
The BJP has postponed a proposed 28-day `Lok Jagran Yatra` by senior BJP leader and MLA Gulabchand Kataria in the tribal belt of Rajasthan till May 5.
