A Delhi court on Saturday fixed October 15 for hearing a criminal defamation complaint filed against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler by a senior lawyer representing the victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riot cases.
Congress leader Jagdish Tytler told a court here on Wednesday that he is ready to tender "unconditional apology" to complainant HS Phoolka to settle a criminal defamation complaint but the latter refused the offer.

Terming as "very unfortunate" the Delhi court verdict acquitting Sajjan Kumar in a 1984 riots case, senior advocate HS Phoolka, who is spearheading the legal battle for the riot victims, today said they will file an appeal.
Senior advocate HS Phoolka, appearing for the 1984 anti-Sikh riots victims in different courts has decided to withdraw from all the cases following allegations of “personal benefits” levelled against him.
