Merging strong banks ideal, need to be careful, says Rajan

Amidst talks of consolidation in the banking sector, Reserve Bank Governor Raghuram Rajan on Wednesday stated merging strong banks will bode well for the economy while saying that one needs to be "very careful" in deciding who to merge with whom.
