Government has information that terror groups have been investing money in Indian stock markets, Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said on Friday.
Overseas fund inflows into the Indian stock markets have crossed the Rs 60,000-crore (about USD12 billion) mark so far this year.
Foreign institutional investors on Monday
made a heavy investment of over Rs 1,000 crore in the Indian
stock markets, helping the key indices to touch their highest
levels in more than a year.
